She was fine at the family home but started whinging the second she came in the door, slept fine but whined all morning, I know for sure nothing happened at home so I don't know why she seemed so scared. I asked her last night what was wrong hoping she would in some way communicate to me exactly what is upsetting her - no luck yet! But I'm trying to be patient! My sister is bringing her to the pet clinic tonight, just to see if they can help in any way! I'll let ye all know what comes outta that one! x

Have you got any new stuff in your house (furniture etc) that she may dislike intensly for some reason?

No, there's nothing new, we broke down the shed out the back last week with a sledge hammer but that was always locked up anyway!

I assume something and something are dogs, and not a cow and a duck?

That was my feeble atempt at humour, some people on here can be so funny, i just dont have it.

Well, I hope shes okay *nods with fingers crossed*... If not, then she can borrow my Xbox 360! That's bound to cheer her up, I'm sure!

The serious bit should've maybe come at the end, because you're now probably wondering if I do actually care.... Hmmmm. Sorry

Gosh, I can't believe the cheek of you! Coming on here slagging my dog while she's suffering from some depressive anxiety thing?
You're coming off my friends list!
Now-that's a joke!

oh goody this post starts looking like a Cheer-Up-Doggie Support Group now! But - yet again - hope she's fine and fingers crossed

My husband who used to be a guard dog instructor said that the doggie probably has an emotional history (was she adopted from some dog's orphanage or maybe had other owners earlier? the fear of being abandoned etc. - could it be an issue?). He also said: "Maybe she wants to have babies?" And he also said: "Let her get herself another dog" - nasty sod! But it's his sense of humour, he usually doesn't mean bad... hope you excuse him.
As for the doggie letting you know what's wrong - well I don't expect her to start talking English all of a sudden
But the answer might come to you in a dream, especially if you open and patient, yes
it is not always instant. I think you have this capacity since you have very interesting (weird is a better word!
dreams anyway. The trick (I think) is not to assume any kind of answer. It could have been food, a thunderstorm, a scary man with awfully smelly feet etc. Just about anything. "Free your mind".
Good luck!-

Thank you for your reply, my sister has owned her since she was a pup, got her straight from the mother so it's nothing about her history!
I'm going to be patient and open about this definitely, I told her last night that I know she can tell me what's wrong and will tell me what's wrong in her own time, I tried to explain to her that I just want her to feel better...gosh, is it strange that I was talking to my dog like that?
If anyone had walked in seeing me holding her head looking into her eyes...oh they would've brought ME to the pet clinic! ha ha!

Sorry if I missed this, but what sort of dog is she?
